Macsolv is largely the effort of Stephen Alison. Stephen is a former System Engineer for Apple, Inc. and holds the (since discontinued) premier ACSA certification for Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.4. Stephen was also ACTC Certified (also since discontinued) for 10.2 through 10.10 and was an Apple Certified IT Trainer℠. Currently, he holds the Apple Certified Support Professional℠ 10.12, Apple Certified Associate℠ 10.13, and CWNP Certified Wireless Technician certificates. He also holds Apple's Mobility Technical Competency certificate. He has personally installed and configured more than 150 Mac OS X Server® solutions for customers of Apple and Macsolv. Stephen founded Macsolv in 2005 and found great success in California, then Saint Louis, supporting individuals, schools, and businesses. In the Summer of 2014, the New Orleans native moved to Texas (for the second time) and is once again bringing his knowledge and professionalism to Macsolv's newest customers in the Austin area—even as he continues remote support for Saint Louis clients.

Today, Macsolv provides consulting and professional services for Macintosh-using individuals and organizations in the greater Austin area. Macsolv also excels in providing expert, state-of-the-art wired and wireless home, business, and enterprise networks.
