Macsolv is largely the effort of Stephen Alison. Stephen is a former System Engineer for Apple, Inc. and holds the (since discontinued) ACSA certification for Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.4. Stephen is also ACTC Certified for 10.2 through 10.10 and is an Apple Certified IT Trainer. He also holds Apple's Mobility Technical Competency certificate. He has personally installed and configured more than 100 Mac OS X Server solutions for customers of Apple and Macsolv. Stephen founded Macsolv in 2005 and found great success in California, then Saint Louis, supporting individuals, schools, and businesses. In Summer 2014, Stephen moved to Austin, Texas and is once again bringing his knowledge and professionalism to Macsolv's newest customers—even as he continues remote support for Saint Louis clients.

Today, Macsolv provides consulting and professional services for Macintosh-using individuals and organizations in the greater Austin area. Macsolv also excels in providing expert, state-of-the-art wired and wireless home, business, and enterprise networks.
